Starting his career at EMI in finance Tony moved to BP where he progressed to Finance Director of one of their divisions. He then joined Ernst & Young in their consultancy practice and worked on numerous projects around the world as a Principal Consultant. These projects included an MIS system for a sovereign state.
After spending 4 years with E&Y he joined the Andersen's UK Consultancy Practice (now Accenture) and specialised in multi-function 'turn around' assignments as a managing consultant.
Tony then joined the GN Great Nordic group as MD of their UK operations. This business concentrated on value added telecoms services in fax and email. The business grew from a turnover of £3 million to £22 million though a number of mergers and organic growth and was eventually sold to Swift Global.
In 1990 Tony co-founded Linkhand, an IT services company focussed on Document and Process Management. This business grew to sales of £4 million plus and a client base of Blue-Chip companies. When Melstar acquired Linkhand in 2001 he became CEO for their European Operations.
With the acquisition of the Linkhand business by LB Icon Tony continues to lead his management team as CEO.
Tony is a qualified Accountant, married with 3 adult children.

 Ian Soden UK COO, LB Icon
Ian is a senior executive with extensive Board experience in Information Systems Management and with a background in both Management Consultancy and Information Systems.

Ian started his career on the graduate programme with BP gaining a solid grounding in software engineering.
In 1977 he joined Hogg Robinson & Gardner Mountain, a global insurance broker, where he undertook a number of senior roles in Technical Services, Production Services, Software Development and Business Systems.
In 1988 Ian joined Minet Holdings, a larger global insurance broker, initially as Systems Strategy Director and then as Group IT Director. He was a member of the Senior Management Group, a member of the wholesale and reinsurance businesses boards and managed an IT team of over 200 staff with operational responsibility for all locations including North America, Europe, Africa and Australia
Ian then joined an Information Systems Consultancy where he had full P & L responsibility for a Business Unit that provided software engineering, skills transfer, project management and consultancy services to clients utilising Sybase technology.
In 1998 Ian joined Linkhand, an IT services company focussed on Document and Process Management. This business grew to sales of £3 million plus and a client base of Blue Chip companies. When Melstar acquired Linkhand in 2001 he became COO for their European Operations, subsequently transferring to the New York office as CEO of Melstar's North American business.
In 2004 Melstar sold the Linkhand business to LB Icon. Ian was appointed COO of LB Icon Limited in April 2005.

Peter worked in a number of industries in sales and general management roles in the UK and overseas before starting work in the IT sector in the early '80s. In 1987 Peter co-founded Maxima PLC, a networking products and services business which was successfully sold to P&P Micros – now part of GE Capital – several years later. Peter then joined Techgnosis – a developer of database access MiddleWare – as Sales Director and progressed to MD, growing the company from start-up to £2 million in three years, running the groups most successful country operation. The business was sold to Intersolv in 1994.
After a period with U-Soft, a Unisys software tools company, Peter joined Compass, a performance measurement company based in Guildford. As Sales & Marketing Director, Peter was responsible for repositioning the UK organisation as an advice and guidance management consulting organisation and increasing the sales by 240% in three years to £8million. Peter joined Aspect Group as Sales Director in 2002, taking responsibility for existing clients and those gained through acquisition.
Peter has 2 teenage children and enjoys sailing.

Starting his career in the London Insurance Market, Tim set up his first company at the age of 25 to operate as a contract sales and marketing organisation. From there he was a co-founder of Linkhand Image Limited, one of the early standard bearers for scanning, imaging and workflow technology. Tim's role as Marketing Director was to position the company, create demand and manage the pre-sales. Tim then joined Documentum where he worked for 8 years in a variety of roles including Indirect Sales, Sales Manager Emerging Geographies, Strategic Alliances Manager and EMEA Engagement Manager. Joining LB Icon in May 2005, Tim is focussed on delivering new business and managing alliances. Tim has an BA in Business Studies and is married with 2 children.
